Doris R. Beale - 86, longtime Scituate resident, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 23, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Richard F. Beale, with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage.

Devoted mother of Thomas Beale and his wife Tara of Plympton, Timothy Beale and his wife Marina of Plymouth and the late Terrence Beale and Elizabeth Beale.

Proud Grammy of Taite, Tristan, Trent and Toriana.

Dear daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Moriarty.

Loving sister of Marion McLaughlin and her late husband Jack, Daniel...

Doris R. Beale - 86, longtime Scituate resident, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 23, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Richard F. Beale, with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage.

Dear daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Moriarty.

Loving sister of Marion McLaughlin and her late husband Jack, Daniel Moriarty and his wife Anne, John Moriarty and his wife Barbara and the late Fred Moriarty. She was the sister in law of Phyllis Moriarty.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Doris enjoyed bowling, swimming and reading. She was an avid Red Sox fan. As Treasurer of the Class of 1948 St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain, she devoted herself for many years to the organizing of the class reunions for her high school peers. Above all else, her most cherished times were the moments spent with her family: particularly her grandchildren.

Visiting hours will take place on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Scituate.
